Banglar Shiksha West Bengal RTE Admission 2025-26 Notification PDF: The Banglar Shiksha Portal of West Bengal has officially released the admission procedure for the 2025 academic session for Pre-Primary classes across all Government institutions, Government Model Schools, Integrated Schools, Government Sponsored Schools, Aided Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schools, and Higher Secondary Schools, including SSKs/MSKs.

West Bengal RTE Admission 2025-26 Application Procedure
Admission forms will be made available at no cost in all schools, as well as on the official Banglar Shiksha portal (banglarshiksha.gov.in). This form is applicable to all categories of schools mentioned in the preceding paragraph. A self-attested copy of the applicant’s birth certificate must be submitted along with the application form at the school. In the event that the birth certificate is not available at the time of application submission, a declaration regarding the child’s age from the parent or guardian will be accepted. The applicant is required to provide the birth certificate within the following six months in accordance with the RTE Rules 2012.
Additionally, a self-attested copy of the reservation certificate from the relevant authority must accompany the application form to access reservation benefits. It is imperative that all sections of the application form are completed with accurate information.
West Bengal RTE Admission 2025-26 Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted using the ‘Draw of Lots’ method. The draw event will take place within the dates specified in the table above. Once candidates are selected, they must present their original birth certificates and any relevant documents requested by the school during the admission process. If a birth certificate is not available at the time of admission, a six-month grace period will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Education Act. Should any selected candidates be rejected by the school management after being included in the admission panel list, this will be reported to the district authorities.
