MP RTE Admission 2025-26 – How to Verify Lottery Results?
To check and download the allotment letter for the selected school, please follow these steps:
- Step-1: Navigate to the official MP RTE Portal website – rteportal.mp.gov.in
- Step-2: Click on the link located in the top menu bar.
- Step-3: Input your Application Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth, then complete the captcha and click the submission button.
- Step-4: You can now verify the status of your application.
- Step-5: If you are selected, you may download the allotment letter.

The online application process for the MP RTE 25% admission for the academic year 2025-26 under the Right to Education Act has commenced. The deadline for applications is May 21, 2025. Age Eligibility Criteria for MP RTE Admission 2025-26
As per the revised education policy of Madhya Pradesh, the age criteria for school admissions will be determined as follows. For the academic year 2025-26, the minimum age for entry into pre-primary classes (Nursery, KG 1, KG 2) will be assessed as of 31 July 2025, while for class 1, it will be assessed as of 30 September 2025.

Who are all eligible for MP RTE Admission 2025-26?
Eligibility criteria for MP RTE Admission 2025-26 include children from families living below the poverty line, orphaned children recognized as part of vulnerable groups by the state government, and beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Bal Kalyan Yojana. This scheme supports the education, financial assistance, and food security of orphaned children who lost their parents or guardians due to Covid-19.
Eligible applicants include: families consisting of a husband, wife, and their dependent children where the parents have succumbed to Covid-19, families where both the legal guardian and the parent have died from Covid-19, or families where one parent died previously and the other has since died from Covid-19. The term ‘death from Covid-19’ refers to any death occurring between 1 March 2021 and 30 June 2021.
RTE MP Admission 2025-26 Selection Process
The registration for the MP admission portal for the academic year 2025-26 is exclusively available to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria concerning age and the distance from their residence to the school. The selection procedure is conducted in an open and transparent manner through a Draw of Lots system. This process relies solely on the individual’s luck. In instances where the number of applications exceeds the available seats, the lottery system will be implemented in accordance with RTE regulations. Following the completion of the lottery, a selection list and a waiting list will be generated for all registered applicants. The final selection will be determined based on these lists.
