KVS Class 2 Admission Date 2025-26: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is prepared to announce the admission schedule for Class 2 for the academic year 2025-26. The admission process for Class 1 in KV schools has commenced, contingent upon the availability of seats. The application form for Class 1 is being provided by the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya school management at no cost. KVS 2nd Class Admission Age Limit 2025-26
The KVS has adhered strictly to the age requirements of applicants based on their Date of Birth for all classes. For admission to class 2, applicants must be at least 7 years old and must not exceed the age of 9 years. The official cutoff date is 31st March 2025, although 1st April will also be taken into account. Registration on the KVS online admission portal (kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in) will not be accepted for applicants who do not meet these age criteria, even by a single day. For instance, a child born on 2nd April 2018 or 30th March 2016 will not qualify for class 2 for the academic year 2025-26, as the cutoff date remains 31st March 2025 (with 1st April 2025 also being considered).
