Air Force Bal Bharati School Admission 2026-27: The admission procedure for the academic year 2026-27 has been officially announced for Nursery (Balvatika-1) and Kindergarten. This announcement pertains specifically to the Non-Air Force Category. Admission Timeline for Non–Air Force Category Applicants
- Commencement of admission process & form availability – 4 December 2025 (Thursday) Timings: 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM (excluding Saturdays, Sundays & Gazetted Holidays)
- Last date to submit application forms – 27 December 2025 (Saturday)
- Upload of applicants’ details (Open Seats) – 9 January 2026 (Friday)
- Publication of marks (as per point system) – 16 January 2026 (Friday)
- First Selection List (including Waiting List) – 23 January 2026 (Friday)
- Query resolution window for first list – 24 January – 3 February 2026
- Second Selection List (if any) – 9 February 2026 (Monday)
- Query resolution for second list – 10–16 February 2026
- Subsequent list (if applicable) – 5 March 2026 (Thursday)
- Admission process closure – 19 March 2026 (Thursday)
Age Requirements (Effective 31 March 2026)
- Nursery (Balvatika-1): A child must be older than 3 years and younger than 4 years.
- KG: A child must be older than 4 years and younger than 5 years.
Note: The Head of School may consider an age relaxation of up to 30 days (for both below and above the specified limits). Parents are required to submit a hard copy application for relaxation addressed to the Head.
Required Documents & Submission Instructions
- Forms must be collected and submitted strictly between 09:00 AM and 12:00 PM on business days.
- At the time of form collection, it is necessary to provide the child’s name, date of birth, and the parent’s name.
- A hard copy of the child’s Aadhaar Card is to be submitted.
- Ensure that all supporting documents are included with the form; incomplete applications will face rejection.
- Forms for three Air Force Schools based in Delhi (including AFBBS) can be found at the Enquiry Counter near Gate No. 1, AFBBS, Lodi Road.
Selection Criteria Based on 100-Point System
Selection for Open Seats is based on a transparent points system:
- Neighbourhood (Distance from school) – Up to 5 km: 15<br>5–10 km: 10<br>10–15 km: 5
- Sibling studying in the school – 15
- Alumni parents (either/both) – 20
- Single parent (widow/widower/unmarried/divorced) – 5
- Single girl child (no siblings) – 5 (Affidavit on ₹100 stamp paper required)
- Defence/Ex-Servicemen/Civilian Categories – Up to 40 (varies by category)
Important: Points for siblings will not be granted if the sibling was admitted under the Single Girl Child category.
