AFD CSD India Registration 2025 New Procedures

Revised procedure for acquiring Cars, Bikes, Scooters, and White Goods through the CSD Canteen: To initiate the process of purchasing four-wheelers, two-wheelers, and white goods via the AFD portal, it is essential to register on the AFD portal by providing your basic service information, canteen grocery card number, chip number, and other relevant details, following the step-by-step instructions available on the portal.

For new registration on the AFD CSD Portal:
a. Visit https://afd.csdindia.gov.in
b. Click on ‘SHOP NOW’ to access the login page.
c. Select ‘New User Registrations’.
d. Complete all required fields.
e. Click ‘SUBMIT’ to proceed.
f. During the new registration process, you will receive an OTP on the mobile number provided in the form, which must be entered in the ‘Enter Mobile OTP’ field.

How to place an Order in CSD AFD Portal 2025?

To place an order in the CSD AFD Online Portal for the year 2025, please follow these straightforward steps:

1. Access the AFD portal to gather information regarding the availability and pricing of the desired AFD item for the specific month.

2. Request a quotation for the vehicle based on the CSD pricing.

3. Additionally, obtain an availability certificate, which will be valid for three weeks from the date of issue, but must not extend beyond the end of the month in which it is issued.

4. For user login:
i. Navigate to “https://afd.csdindia.gov.in”.
ii. Click on “SHOP NOW” to reach the login page.
iii. Enter your “Username”.
iv. Input your “Password”.
v. Complete the “Captcha” verification.
vi. Click on “LOGIN”.
vii. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number or email address.
viii. Enter the received OTP in the “Enter OTP” field.

5. Once logged in, on the “Shop Page,” utilize the “search box” to input the vehicle SKU Number that you reserved at the showroom. Click on it to verify that the displayed price matches the one provided by the showroom (as per the availability certificate); if there is a discrepancy, request the showroom to correct it.

6. When placing a demand on the AFD Portal, you will be prompted to select your Price Zone (state), Dealer, Depot, and URC (designate the nearest URC canteen). On the checkout page, ensure that you upload all necessary documents, including proof of payment, PAN, last pay drawn or PPO, and the availability certificate.

7. After submitting your demand or completing the checkout process, your request will be forwarded to the relevant depot for verification of your eligibility for the specific product. The concerned depot will review your demand, and subsequently, the portal will prompt you to make the payment. You will receive a notification via SMS/email within 1-2 working days, or you can check your account for updates.

8. You are required to pay the total amount to CSD either directly, through your account, via a bank loan, or through a combination of these methods. Upon successful completion of the payment process, you will receive a summary sheet. It is advisable to print this document and retain it along with all other uploaded documents in duplicate for your records.

Essential to understand the procedure for purchasing a vehicle through the CSD AFD Portal in 2025

  • Visit the showroom to select and reserve your desired vehicle, and obtain the availability certificate for the current month along with a quotation based on the CSD pricing.
  • If you are a new user, please register on the AFD Portal and ensure that you accurately complete your personal information.
  • For existing users, kindly log in to your account.
  • Upon logging in, you will be directed to the shop page.
  • Utilize the search box to find the desired product.
  • Click the “Add to Cart” button, complete all required details on the checkout page, and generate the demand. It is advisable to verify the product specifications thoroughly.
  • The depot will review the demand and approve the payment split.
  • You will receive an SMS or email notification following the generation of the demand.
  • Payments must be made from the beneficiary’s own bank account through the designated payment gateways, specifically SBI and Paygov/Razerpay. Any loan payments from the bank should be transferred to the specified CSD account (please refer to the payment instructions). It is important to carefully read the payment process outlined in the Important Notices section of the AFD portal.
  • Once the payment is confirmed, you will receive an email and SMS notification to collect the Purchase Order, Local Supply Order, and authorization letter, which can be downloaded by logging into your AFD account.
  • Visit your designated URC with all original documents, including your PAN Card, Grocery Card, Service ID Proof, and Availability Certificate. The CSD representative will verify the documents, retain office copies, and provide you with a signed and stamped Local Supply Order copy.
  • Finally, collect the Purchase Order or Local Supply Order from the designated URC, present it at the showroom, and take possession of your vehicle.
