AP RTE Admission 2025-26 Notification: The school education department of the Andhra Praesh has announced new admissions under the rule of Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education, allocating 25% of available seats for children from disadvantaged groups and weaker sections for admission into Class I at private management unaided schools (those adhering to State/CBSE/ICSE/IB syllabus) in the state for the academic year 2025-26. How to Register Online in cse.ap.gov.in/rte?
The online admission portal for CSE Andhra Pradesh offers four functionalities: one-time registration, login, password change, and SMS resend. The initial step, online registration, is essential for enrolling your child’s name in this portal.
Step 1: Access the official admission website of AP via the direct link: https://cse.ap.gov.in/RTE/
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ link located on the left side.
Step 3: If your child possesses an Aadhaar Card number, you will have the option to select registration with or without the Aadhaar Card number.
Step 4: Upon successful registration under Section 12 (1) C of the RTE, the user will receive a username and password sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 5: After logging into the application, the user must select their preferred schools from the web options.
Step 6: Download the list of selected schools from the ‘View Web Options’ section.
Procedure for Submitting the Application Form for AP RTE Admission 2025-26
Visit the official website cse.ap.gov.in and select the link labeled RTE-12(1)C-2025-26 located in the top menu bar. After clicking the link, you will be directed to the School Information Management System webpage. Proceed to click the link to apply online for Class 1 admission at any private school in your vicinity. Complete the form with all required details and submit it. A confirmation message will be sent to your registered phone number and email address.

Documents Required for Completing the Application Form for AP RTE Admission 2025 The necessary documents to be submitted as proof of residence include one of the following options:
UID-Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity Card, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Water Bill, House Tax Receipt, Driving License, Copy of Rent Agreement, Rice Card, Certificate from Employer, Certificate from Tehsildar/Local Authority, Certificate from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for children classified as CNCP or CICL residing in a Child Care Institution (CCI). The Aadhar number may be requested in accordance with the provisions of the Aadhaar Act.
Additionally, other important documents are required to verify eligibility criteria. Children who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS must provide their own medical certificates or those of their parents. Transgender children are required to submit a medical certificate issued by a Civil Surgeon or Superintendent of Government-designated hospitals as proof of their eligibility under the relevant provisions. For children applying under the EWS category, either the AAY Card or the Rice Card will be accepted as proof of income, which must be resubmitted annually. If the family income increases, the child will still be permitted to continue receiving free education.

This reservation arrangement, in sequential order, applies to private schools located in non-tribal areas. In cases where there are no orphans, HIV-affected individuals, or disabled candidates available, or if such candidates are only available in limited numbers, the vacancies will be filled by Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC). After all applications from orphans, HIV-affected individuals, and disabled candidates have been processed, any remaining seats will be allocated to the weaker sections.
In tribal areas, priority will be given to all ST children for admission. Once all applications from ST children have been considered, SC children may then be admitted. After all SC applications have been processed, any remaining seats will be filled by other candidates
