CBSE Parenting Calendar for Academic Session 2025-26

CBSE Academic Calendar 2025-26: Each year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases an academic calendar intended for students, parents, and educators. This calendar outlines the various educational activities for students, as well as important dates for holidays, breaks, sports events, and parent-teacher meetings.

CBSE Academic Calendar 2025-26 is in Preparation!

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the establishment of a committee tasked with creating the parenting calendar for the academic year 2025-26. For your convenience, the details of the notification are provided below.

“The need for enhanced collaboration between schools and parents is critical in the evolving educational landscape. To achieve this, CBSE intends to develop a structured Parenting Calendar for the academic session 2025-26.

OBJECTIVES

Facilitating effective parent-teacher interactions.
Supporting diverse student needs, including adolescents, children with special needs (CWSN), and early/middle age groups.
Establishing a consistent communication framework for addressing critical milestones (e.g., exam results, behavioural changes).
Providing timely support and intervention through structured engagement.

A committee is therefore constituted as under for the purpose of developing and implementing the Parenting Calendar for the session 2025-26.

Responsibilities: The committee members are expected to:

Attend virtual or offline meetings as scheduled by the Board.
Collaborate with the Convener for coordinated action and decision-making.
Develop a comprehensive Parenting Calendar addressing the stated objectives.

Timeline: The tentative deadline for submission of the committee’s recommendations is 15th March 2025.

All committee members are requested to actively participate in the meetings and contribute to this vital initiative. Further details regarding meeting schedules will be shared by the Board in due course.”
