Proximity Conditions from School to Residence:
- Children Living Within 1 Kilometer of the Government School
- Children Living Within 3 Kilometers of the Government School
- Children Living Beyond 3 Kilometers of the Government School, provided that a parental undertaking regarding the safe transportation of the child is submitted.
The age criteria for all classes are determined as of 31st March 2025:
- Pre-Primary Level-1: Children born between 1st April 2021 and 31st March 2022 (ages 3 to 4 years)
- Pre-Primary Level-2: Children born between 1st April 2020 and 31st March 2021 (ages 4 to 5 years)
- Pre-Primary Level-3: Children born between 1st April 2019 and 31st March 2020 (ages 5 to 6 years)
No unaided recognized private schools in Chandigarh are permitted to admit children under the EWS/DG category for the entry-level class through offline methods.
