CHT 2025: How to Apply & Fee Details

Applications must be submitted exclusively in online mode via the new SSC Headquarters website, https://ssc.gov.in, or through the my SSC mobile application, which is available for download on the Google Play Store. For comprehensive guidance, please consult Annexure-III and Annexure-IV of this Notice, as well as the Notice dated 02.06.2025 regarding the mobile app, which can be found on the Commission’s website.

All candidates intending to apply in response to this Notice who have not yet generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website (https://ssc.gov.in) must do so, as the previous OTR created on the old website (ssc.nic.in) will not be applicable to the new site. After generating the OTR, candidates may proceed to complete their application for the examination. Once an OTR is created on the new website, it will remain valid for all examinations applied for on that site. Detailed instructions for OTR can be found in Annexure-III of this Notice.

Candidates are encouraged to choose Aadhaar Based Authentication, in accordance with the Aadhaar Policy published on the Commission’s website, during their OTR process. Applications from candidates who select Aadhaar Authentication will not be rejected on the basis that the uploaded photograph and/or signature do not meet the prescribed standards. Such candidates will not need to present recent color photographs or original valid Photo-Identity proof for entry to the examination venue during the Computer Based Examination.

Applications containing photographs that do not comply with these guidelines are subject to rejection. Under no circumstances should candidates submit photographs of their previously existing images. Any applications featuring previously existing photographs will be rejected. However, applications submitted by candidates through the Aadhaar Based Authentication process will not be rejected on these grounds.

Before submitting the Application Form, candidates must ensure that the photograph is taken according to the specified instructions.
