IIM Vizag Admission 2025: IIM Bangalore serves as a mentor for the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam, one of the country’s top management schools, which was founded in 2015 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. IIM Visakhapatnam, which is ranked 29th in the NIRF 2023 rankings, provides postgraduate and doctoral programs, such as its flagship PGP, PGPEx, PGPDGM, EMBA, PhD, and MGNF. Notably, it provides the first specialized MBA program in Digital Governance & Management in India, with backing from the Ministry of Electronics & IT.
With an average package of INR 19.5 LPA, the highest package in the 2024 placements was INR 43.25 LPA. In addition to offering scholarships to deserving students, the institute has state-of-the-art facilities such labs, classrooms, a library, an auditorium, and facilities for sports and medicine. IIM Visakhapatnam Admission: MBA
The PGP/MBA program at IIM Visakhapatnam is offered full-time for two years. A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% of the possible points (45% for SC, ST, and PwD applicants) or an equivalent degree approved by the Indian government’s Ministry of Education is required of candidates. Candidates can also apply if they are awaiting results or are in their last year of a bachelor’s degree. Admission is determined by a personal interview and CAT results.

IIM Visakhapatnam Scholarship
A variety of scholarships are available from IIM Visakhapatnam to help students with their financial needs. Under the National Scholarship for Higher Education, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs offers Scheduled Tribe (ST) students enrolled in the first year of the PGP program complete tuition subsidies. In a similar vein, the National Scholarship for Higher Education program of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment provides full tuition scholarships to deserving Scheduled Caste (SC) students. Students with disabilities who have a disability of 40% or more, as confirmed by a medical certificate, are eligible for financial aid of INR 2,55,000 annually from the Department of Persons with Disabilities of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Students from minority communities who have received at least 50% in their prior exams and whose family income does not exceed INR 2.50 lakh per year are eligible for the Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses. In order to further fund their study, IIM Visakhapatnam also advises students to look into additional merit-based scholarships offered by private organizations or the federal and state governments.
