Jharkhand RTE Admission Form 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility under the RTE Act is granted to applicants whose family’s annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 72,000. This applies to the entry class of non-aided private schools (excluding minority institutions) located within a distance of 1 km, 3 km, and ultimately up to 6 km from the applicant’s residence.
The age requirements for enrollment in nursery/LKG range from 3 years and 6 months to 4 years and 6 months, while for admission to class 1, the age must be between 5 years and 6 months to 7 years. The cutoff date for determining age eligibility is 31st March 2025.

This application is for the registration of students seeking admission into private schools for the academic session 2025-2026 under the Right to Education (RTE) Act for socially and economically weaker sections.

Preparation Before Filling the Application Form: To ensure a smooth and quick application process, please have the following documents ready: A valid mobile number with an Indian SIM card). All application-related notifications will be sent via SMS to the registered number. It is advised to use your personal number rather than a relative’s, friend’s, agent’s, or cyber café operator’s number.

Important Guidelines
- Once the application is submitted and the submission code is generated, no further edits
can be made. - The student must be a resident of Jamtara district.
- Required Documents for Online Submission
- Proof of Age: Birth certificate (Issuer: Municipal Council, Municipal Corporation, Gram Panchayat records, Military Hospital records, or Defense personnel service records).
- The original birth certificate must be submitted for verification at the time of
admission. - Both parents’ Aadhaar cards are mandatory. If either mother or father is absent, in
that case, please upload the one that is available. - If the parents are not present or the child resides elsewhere, the guardian’s Aadhaar card is required. Category Certificate: SC/ST/OBC/EWS/BPL
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/BPL certificate, issued by the competent authority of the respective
state or central government.
Income Certificate: ₹72,000 The income certificate should be issued from October 2024. - Residential Proof: A residence certificate is issued by the competent authority. Guardian’s Address Proof (if applicable): If the child resides with a blood relative, please upload one of the following documents: electricity bill, gas bill, bank passbook, or driving license.

- Rejection of Application: If the required documents are not submitted by the specified date.
- If not reported to the allocated school by the specified date.
- School Selection and Admission Process: It is mandatory to select one schools while applying.
- After verification, the District Education Officer will allocate the school.
- All disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the Jamtara Court.
