KVS Class 3 Admission Date 2025-26: According to the KVS admission guidelines, the minimum age for enrollment in Std 3 is set at 8 years, while the maximum permissible age is 10 years as of 1 April 2025. There is a provision for a 2-year relaxation in the upper age limit for applicants classified as “Differently Abled.” Consequently, the acceptable date of birth range for children applying for Std 3 for the academic year 2025-2026 is from 1 April 2015 to 1 April 2017 for those not categorized as “Differently Abled.” For applicants in the “Differently Abled” category, the permissible date of birth range extends from 1 April 2013 to 1 April 2017.

Required Documents for Admission in KVS: Date of Birth Certificate
If a child’s date of birth falls outside the specified ranges, registration will not be permitted. A scanned copy or image of the date of birth proof (in JPEG format, not exceeding 256KB) must be uploaded when submitting the online admission application. It is advisable to have this scanned document readily available. For admission to Std 3, the proof of age must be substantiated by a birth certificate issued by the relevant authority responsible for birth registrations.
This includes certificates from the Notified Area Council, Municipality, Municipal Corporation, or an extract of the date of birth from the records of the Village Panchayat, Military Hospital, or service records of Defence personnel. Should a Vidyalaya grant provisional admission to a child, the original date of birth certificate must be presented at the time of admission, and it will be returned after verification.
