CBSE & DoE-Based Admission Preference Rules

In response to significant demand and restricted capacity, NPS adheres to a defined priority sequence:

  1. Siblings of current students (applications frequently surpass twice the number of available seats)
  2. Children of NPS teaching and non-teaching staff
  3. Children of alumni (NPS has been in operation since 1959)
  4. Families that are nationally mobile (Central/State government, PSU, or transferable services)
  5. Internationally mobile students returning from overseas schools
  6. Minority candidates from other states (to foster national integration)

Please note: Admission is not assured even with priority status—final selection is contingent upon entrance test results and actual vacancies.
