New Delhi RTE Admission 2026-27 for EWS and DG: The online application procedure for Delhi EWS Admission 2026-27 is now open. Students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section or those from low-income households are encouraged to apply online for admission to private schools in Delhi. Children aged between 3 to 7 years are eligible to submit the Delhi EWS admission application form at https://www.edudel.nic.in.

Document Required for Delhi EWS Admission 2026-27

For the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Category:

  • An income certificate must be issued by a Revenue Officer of at least the rank of Tehsildar, or alternatively, a BPL/AAY/Food Security Card provided by the Food and Civil Supply Department of the Government of NCT of Delhi.

For the Disadvantaged Group (DG) Category:

  • A certificate for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) must be issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar from the Government of NCT of Delhi.
  • For children with special needs or disabilities: a certificate must be issued by a government hospital.
  • For orphans and transgender individuals: appropriate documentary evidence is required.
  • Documentation is also necessary for children living with or affected by HIV.
