Method of Selection for PFRDA Recruitment 2025

Mode of selection shall be a three-stage process i.e. Phase I (on – line Screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), Phase II (on – line examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each) and Phase III (Interview).

Age Restriction for PFRDA Recruitment 2025

a. A candidate must not have surpassed the age of thirty (30) years as of July 31, 2025, meaning the candidate must have been born on or after August 01, 1995.

b. The upper age limit specified above will be relaxable only in the following circumstances: i. up to a maximum of five years for candidates belonging to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe where the positions are reserved for them; ii. up to a maximum of three years for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible for the reservation applicable to such candidates where the positions are reserved for them;

c. Only candidates classified as ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ (NCL) are eligible to apply under the OBC Category. OBC candidates who fall under the ‘Creamy Layer’ are not permitted to apply under the OBC Category. Candidates who belong to the OBC category but are classified as ‘Creamy Layer’ are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as ‘Unreserved’.

Candidates belonging to the OBC (NCL) category must possess an OBC (NCL) certificate issued on or after 01.04.2025 and prior to the date of document verification at the time of the interview. Such candidates must submit their OBC (NCL) certificate at the time of the interview (if called for an interview). No requests for an extension of time for the submission of the OBC (NCL) Certificate beyond the specified date will be considered.

Candidates qualifying for Phase III, i.e., the interview under the OBC category, will be required to present the OBC (NCL) certificate, as stated in the advertisement, at the time of the interview. If candidates fail to provide the certificate at the time of the interview, they will not be permitted to attend the interview. Furthermore, their request for an interview under the ‘Unreserved’ category will not be entertained under any circumstances.

d. A relaxation period of 10 (ten) years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates will be applicable regardless of whether the position is reserved. A relaxation of 13 (thirteen) years is granted to PwBD candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) when vacancies are specifically reserved for OBC candidates. Furthermore, a relaxation of 15 (fifteen) years is applicable to PwBD candidates from the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) when vacancies are reserved for SC/ST candidates.

e. A relaxation of 5 (five) years is provided for Ex-servicemen. This category includes Emergency Commissioned Officers and Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed a minimum of five years of continuous Military Service and have been released

a) upon completion of their assignment (including those whose assignment is set to conclude within one year from July 31, 2025) other than through dismissal or discharge due to misconduct or inefficiency, or b) due to physical disability attributable to Military Service, or c) upon invalidment. Emergency Commissioned Officers and Short Service Commissioned Officers who have fulfilled their initial five-year Military Service requirement but whose assignments have been extended beyond this period, and for whom the Ministry of Defence has issued certificates indicating they will be released upon selection within three months from the date of receiving the appointment offer.

f. Candidates from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes who also fall under the category of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and Ex-servicemen are eligible for cumulative age relaxation. In instances where no vacancies are reserved for OBC, SC, ST, or Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates, such individuals may still submit applications. However, they will not qualify for any relaxations.

Candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, women, and ex-servicemen are exempt from the application fee even in these circumstances. OBC, PwBD, and EWS candidates must possess a current certificate to this effect issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India (formats can be found on the PFRDA website).

General Guidelines for PFRDA Recruitment 2025

a. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to apply for the aforementioned position must submit an ONLINE application exclusively along with the required fee (if applicable). Applications submitted through any other method will not be accepted.

b. Applications accompanied by fees sent through any means not specified in this advertisement, or applications submitted without the necessary fee/intimation charges, will be rejected outright, and no correspondence regarding this matter will be entertained.

c. Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the advertisement and ensure they fully understand their eligibility for the position they are applying for. Those seeking reservation or relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS/Ex-servicemen must confirm that they are indeed entitled to such benefits as per the eligibility criteria outlined. At the time of the interview, candidates must possess all necessary certificates regarding their reservation claims in the prescribed format, and these certificates should be dated prior to the application closing date.

d. Should candidates be found ineligible or if they have knowingly or willfully provided incorrect or misleading information or concealed significant details, their application may be disqualified at any point during the selection process. If a candidate successfully passes the selection process but is later discovered to not meet the eligibility requirements, their application will be revoked, and if they have been appointed, their employment will be terminated without notice or compensation.

e. Candidates currently employed by Government, Quasi-Government organizations, or Public Sector Banks/Undertakings must present a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from their employer during the interview.

f. Prior to joining PFRDA, candidates must provide a valid discharge certificate from their employer at the time of joining, which includes the settlement of any bonds, if applicable.

g. Candidates from outstation who are invited for an interview will be reimbursed for their return railway fare in single AC Three Tier, based on the shortest route, contingent upon the submission of the required documentary evidence.

h. PFRDA does not take any responsibility for candidates who fail to submit their applications by the deadline.

i. In all matters concerning eligibility, the conduct of examinations, interviews, assessments, the establishment of minimum qualifying standards for both the Examination and Interview, the number of vacancies, and the communication of results, the decision of PFRDA shall be final and binding on the candidates, and no correspondence will be entertained regarding this matter. Furthermore, PFRDA reserves the right to cancel the advertisement, either in whole or in part, for any reason or to cancel recruitment for any indicated vacancy.

j. Any form of canvassing will result in the disqualification of the candidate.

k. Please be advised that any Addendum, Corrigendum, Notices, etc., related to the aforementioned advertisement will only be published on PFRDA’s website www.pfrda.org.in.

l. Any disputes arising from this advertisement or during or after the selection process will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts located in New Delhi only, excluding all other Courts.

Steps to Submit an Application for PFRDA Recruitment 2025

Candidates must apply online via the website www.pfrda.org.in between 02/07/2025 and 06/08/2025, as no other application methods will be accepted. It is not necessary for candidates to submit the system-generated printout of the online application to the PFRDA office. Detailed Guidelines/Procedures for: A. Application Registration B. A. APPLICATION REGISTRATION: I. IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER BEFORE REGISTRATION: Prior to applying online, candidates should

i. Scan their photograph and signature, ensuring that both meet the specifications outlined in the Guidelines for uploading photographs and signatures.

ii. The left thumb impression must be scanned clearly and without smudging. (If a candidate does not have a left thumb, he/she may use their right thumb for the application.)

iii. Scan the handwriting declaration, ensuring that it complies with the specifications provided in the Guidelines for uploading handwriting declarations. The text for the handwritten declaration is as follows: “I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as required.”

iv. The handwritten declaration mentioned above must be in the candidate’s own handwriting and solely in English. If it is composed and uploaded by someone else or in a different language, the application will be deemed invalid. (For visually impaired candidates who are unable to write, they may have the declaration typed and place their left thumb impression below the typed declaration, then upload the document according to the specifications.)

v. Candidates must possess a valid personal email ID and mobile number, which should remain active until the conclusion of this Recruitment Process. PFRDA may dispatch call letters for interviews, etc., via the registered email ID. If a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create a new email ID and mobile number prior to applying online and must keep that email account and mobile number active. Under no circumstances should a candidate share or mention the email ID of any other individual. II.

PFRDA Recruitment 2025 Application Process

  1. Applicants are required to visit the PFRDA website at www.pfrda.org.in and click on the link titled “Careers”. Following this, they should access the Recruitment Notification named “PFRDA RECRUITMENT EXERCISE – RECRUITMENT OF OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) – 2025” and select the option “APPLY ONLINE”, which will direct them to a new screen.
  2. To register for the application, click on the tab “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email-ID. The system will generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password, which will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should make a note of the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email and SMS containing the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be dispatched.
  3. If a candidate is unable to complete the application form in one session, they can save the information already entered by selecting the “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Before submitting the online application, candidates are encouraged to utilize the “SAVE AND NEXT” feature to review the details in the online application form and make any necessary modifications.
  4. Candidates are strongly advised to meticulously fill out and verify the information provided in the online application, as no changes will be permitted or entertained after clicking the “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” BUTTON.
  5. The candidate’s name, as well as that of their Father/Husband, etc., must be spelled accurately in the application as it appears on the Certificates/Mark sheets. Any discrepancies or alterations may result in disqualification of the candidature.
  6. Confirm your details and save your application by clicking the “VALIDATE YOUR DETAILS” and “SAVE & NEXT” buttons.
  7. Candidates are permitted to upload their Photo, Signature, Left Thumb impression, and handwriting declaration in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Guidelines under point “C” provided below.
  8. Candidates may proceed to complete the remaining details of the Application Form.
  9. Click on the Preview Tab to review and confirm the entire application form prior to selecting “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”.
  10. If necessary, modify the details and click on “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” only after verifying that the uploaded photograph, signature, and all other information you have provided are accurate.
  11. Click on the “PAYMENT” Tab to initiate the payment process.
  12. Click on the “SUBMIT” button.
  13. Candidates will be solely accountable for accurately completing the online applications. In the event of invalid applications due to errors made by the applicant, the Authority will not entertain any claims for the refund of application fees or intimation charges collected.
  14. To prevent a last-minute rush, candidates are encouraged to pay the application fees and register online as early as possible.
  15. The Authority does not accept any responsibility for candidates who are unable to submit their applications on the final day due to the aforementioned reasons or any other circumstances.
