TN RTE Admission 2025-26 Notification Release – Delay Reason?: The official announcement regarding RTE admissions for Class 1 or LKG in private schools in Tamil Nadu for the 2025-26 academic year has yet to be made. According to media reports, the admission process for Class 1 or LKG in unaided private schools under the Right to Education Act for disadvantaged groups and socially and economically weaker sections of children in Tamil Nadu is experiencing delays for the current academic year 2025-26.
The Education Minister of Tamil Nadu, Anbil Poyyamozhi, stated that funding under the RTE for the past two academic years has not yet been released, which is the primary reason for the postponement of the RTE admission announcement for this year.
