Maharashtra RTE Admission 2025-26 Deadline Extended for further 6 Days

Maharashtra RTE Admission 2025-26 Deadline Extended to February 2, 2025: The School Education and Sports Department of Maharashtra has announced an extension of the deadline for online applications under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, increasing the date from January 27, 2025, to February 2, 2025. Each year, the RTE Act is effectively implemented in Maharashtra, ensuring that a minimum of 25% of seats in private schools are reserved for underprivileged children. The online registration process commenced on January 14, 2025, with the initial deadline set for January 27, 2025. This deadline has now been extended by an additional six days, moving it to February 2, 2025.

In consideration of the convenience of the applicants’ parents, the deadline has been officially extended to February 2, 2025, as per the directive issued by the Directorate of Primary Education. The details of the order are provided below for your reference.

“It is informed that the above subject, reference no. According to the Right of Children to Education Act 2009, RTE 25% for the admission process for the year 2025-26 or academic year. The admission period would have been given from 14-1-2025 to 27-1-2025.

This is to inform all concerned that, the extension of RTE 25% admission process for the year 2025-26 or year is being extended from 28-1-2025 to 2-2-2025. As per the procedure, all the parents are requested to fill the form online for the RTE 25% admission process within the given time limit. Since this is the last date, extension will not be given beyond this, all concerned should take note of this petition.”
