Residence Proof for KVS Admission 2025-2026: For applications to the Class 1 and Balvatika courses, Kendriya Vidyalaya 2025–2026 requires proof of residency and verification of neighborhood. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has given kids who live close to the relevant KVS school a chance. This requirement is necessary in order to get admitted to any Kendriya Vidyalaya. There are two types of distances that separate homes from schools:

Area Classification: The distance should be within 5 km of major cities and urban areas (including all district headquarters and metropolitan regions), and 8 km of sites not in the first category.

Every applicant must present proof of residency. A parent’s written self-declaration of the distance may also be accepted, subject to confirmation.
