25% RTE Maharashtra Lottery Logic 2025-26
The procedure for implementing the Lottery Logic in the Maharashtra RTE 25% Admission Selection Process is as follows: The lottery will be conducted exclusively for those schools that have received a greater number of applications than their designated intake, in accordance with the 25% reservation policy.
- The lottery will take place in the auditorium.
- The number of bowls utilized will correspond to the number of digits in the highest number of applications submitted for any participating school. For instance, if the maximum number of applications for XYZ school is 599, then the number of digits in 599 is three, thus three bowls will be used for the lottery draw.
- a. The first bowl will represent the last digit, containing digits from 0 to 9.
- b. The second bowl will represent the second last digit, also containing digits from 0 to 9.
- c. The third bowl will represent the third last digit, containing digits from 0 to 5 (assuming that the maximum number of applications per school does not exceed 599).
- During the lottery event in the auditorium, a parent or candidate will be invited to draw the digits from the bowls.
- This individual will randomly select chits with digits ranging from 0 to 9 from the first bowl, followed by selections from the second and then the third bowl, one after the other.
- All rounds of digit collection from the bowls will be conducted sequentially and simultaneously.
