CBSE Syllabus 2025-26 Released for Class 9, 10, 11, and 12 PDF: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled updated curriculum information for classes 9, 10, 11, and 12 for the academic year 2025-26. Key Aspects of the CBSE Secondary School Curriculum: The curriculum established by CBSE aims to facilitate comprehensive development of students, encompassing physical, intellectual, and social growth. Prioritize constructivist approaches over rote memorization by emphasizing the significance of practical experiences. Outline both general and specific teaching and assessment goals to ensure competency-based learning and mastery of defined skills. Promote the use of knowledge and skills in addressing real-world challenges. Reinforce ‘Constitutional Values’ through values-oriented educational activities. Advance 21st Century Skills, including Life Skills, Financial Literacy, Digital Literacy, Health and Wellness, Road Safety, Citizenship Education, Disaster Management, and Multilingualism. Integrate environmental education across various subjects from grades 1 to10.

CBSE Senior Secondary (11-12) Curriculum 2025-26

Implementation of CBSE Curriculum by School Curriculum Committee; The Board requires all schools to establish a School Curriculum Committee that includes teachers from each subject area.

This committee will be responsible for outlining activities related to teaching practices, developing an assessment plan, and creating a system for feedback and reflection, ensuring effective implementation.

Additionally, the committee will verify that textbooks and reference materials are suitable for the age group, adhere to inclusive principles, are gender-sensitive, contain accurate content, and avoid any material that could offend any community.

Subsequently, the committee will forward the list of approved books to the principal for action in accordance with paragraph 2.4.7 (b) of the Affiliation Byelaws, 2018.

The committee will also ensure that reference materials align with the fundamental principles of the Constitution of India and comply with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF-2005).

Consideration of gender, social, cultural, and regional disparities must be integrated into the curriculum delivery.
